As a local community bank, we are committed to supporting the communities we serve throughout Ogle, Winnebago, and Boone Counties. That is why you’ll see us getting involved and actively supporting a variety of area organizations, agencies, activities and events. We strive both as a bank and as individuals to do our part to help make our communities better places to live and work—and that benefits all of us!

Purchase with a Purpose Debit Card Campaign

In July 2023, we held our fourth “Purchase with a Purpose” Debit Card campaign in which a $1.00 donation was made to local charities with every Stillman Bank Debit Card transaction up to $15,000! We were excited to be able to present checks for $2,500 to 6 non-profit organizations throughout the Rock River Valley!

Stillman Bank Contributes $5,000 to Rock River Valley Blood Center Fund the Bus Campaign

With the current Rock River Valley Blood Center bloodmobile aging out, the RRVBC is making arrangements to purchase a new state-of-the-art bus. We were honored to contribute $5,000 to their Fund the Bus Campaign!

Rockford Area Habitat for Humanity Twenty-Three in '23 Sponsor

We are honored to partner with the Rockford Area Habitat for Humanity for their Twenty-three in ‘23” program! As 1 of the 23 sponsors of this program, we contributed $7,000 and have employees on site throughout the summer & fall to help with the building of the home.

Being a local bank, we love being able to collaborate with wonderful organizations like Habitat for Humanity! Together, we can help build hope, homes, and community.

Ogle County Habitat for Humanity Rochelle Lot

We were proud to contribute $2,000 to Habitat for Humanity of Ogle County in June 2023 to assist in purchasing a lot in Rochelle for their next home build.

Stillman Bank Sponsors Financial Literacy Program for High School Students

For the eleventh consecutive year, Stillman Bank was pleased to sponsor one of the latest initiatives to bring financial literacy education to area high school students, by providing them with access to the EverFi Financial Literacy Program. Over the last eleven years, over 1,000 students have participated in the program as part of their Consumer Education class at Stillman Valley High School.

Nearly 60,000 Pounds of Paper Recycled at Annual Shred Days

Stillman Bank is proud to sponsor annual shred days throughout Ogle and Winnebago County. Since the event's debut in 2012, nearly 60,000 pounds of paper have been recycled during our shred days.

Bank Employees Build Bikes For A Good Cause

Stillman Bank is honored to be involved in Build-A-Bike, an event run by Hamblock Ford Lincoln, in which local businesses, organizations, and individuals sponsor bikes to donate to kids in need throughout Boone County.

We were happy to sponsor of one of the 2022-2023 Rockford Symphony Orchestra concerts at the Coronado Performing Arts Center. Stillman Bank Vice President and Trust Officer Keith Akre, CFA, CFP greeted the audience before the performance to share about our Trust & Wealth Management department.

Over 14,000 Pounds of Food Collected For Families In Need

Each year, the bank holds a Christmas Food Drive to benefit area families. Over 14,000 pounds of food has been collected since 2008. Food is donated to local food pantries. Thank you to all who have contributed!

Stillman Bank Graciously Donates to United Way

Stillman Bank is proud to be the second largest United Way contributor in Ogle County. In 2022, we donated a total of $16,314 to United Way. This monetary gift came from a variety of bank-wide initiatives including individual employee donations, Casual Days, and a corporate contribution. Over the past 20+ years, Stillman Bank and its employees have contributed over $375,000 to United Way.

In 2020, we were honored as a "Centennial Club" member, which symbolizes the founding of United Way of Rock River Valley 100+ years ago and recognizes organizations for making a big impact from collective contributions.
