FAQ's (Frequently Asked Questions) on eStatements
What are eStatements?
eStatements are electronic statements you view online that replace your paper statements. eStatements are available as soon as they are posted, so you receive them much more quickly than paper statements - and eStatements are free!
Who is eligible for eStatements?
All Stillman checking and savings accounts can be viewed on eStatements. Loan and other accounts are not available on eStatements.
Is there a cost associated with receiving eStatements?
No, eStatements are FREE to Stillman Online customers.
How to access eStatements
At the normal time you would receive your old paper statement, you will receive an e-mail to let you know that your eStatement is available. You may access your eStatements when you log in to your account using the link in the e-mail or logging into Stillman Online.
eStatement archiving
You are able to save your eStatements to your computer. You can also receive a CD with your statements on it (fees may apply). This is convenient at the end of the year for your accounting purposes.
Will I continue to receive my printed statement in the mail if I sign up for Stillman eStatements?
No, when you sign up for eStatements you will not receive a paper statement in the mail. If you want a paper copy of a statement or check that you receive electronically, please call one of our facilities or write to Stillman BancCorp N.A. 101 East Main St., Stillman Valley, IL 61084 (normal bank fees may apply). Statements and check copies will only be mailed to the address we have on file. In the future, if you wish to stop receiving your statement electronically, please notify us in writing at the address listed above.
What if I want my eStatement coming to a different e-mail address?
Inform Stillman Bank of any changes to your e-mail address and note that you assume any liability for not updating the e-mail address on file.
Will I still get my check images mailed to me?
No, once you begin receiving your statement electronically, you will no longer receive a hard copy of your bank account statement or any images of your canceled checks. Your e-Statement will provide the numbers of each check that has cleared, the amount of each check, and the date of payment posting. You have the ability to see your canceled checks online by viewing the transaction history of your account and clicking the check number link.
Who do I call if I have questions about my eStatement?
If you have any questions concerning your eStatement, contact your nearest office.
What should I do if I do not receive my eStatement?
We may have an old e-mail address on file. While in Stillman Online, click “Options” and then “Document”. There you can verify, or change your e-mail address. If you are still not receiving your eStatement notification, please contact your nearest office.
How secure are eStatements?
Your actual statement is not sent through e-mail. Instead we send you an e-mail notification that your eStatement is available to view online. You still need to use your user name and password to access your account through our secure website.
After I sign up, when can I expect to receive my first eStatement?
You will receive your first eStatement and stop receiving paper statements with your next statement cycle. You may receive one last paper statement before eStatements begin.
How do I view my eStatement?
The e-mail notification contains a link that will take you directly to our secure site. After logging in, you can access your most current eStatement. When you sign up you can choose to view it as a PDF (you must have Adobe Acrobat Reader), HTML, or as a Text document. You can save your statement to your computer or print it for your records.
