Meet Our Trust Officers
All Stillman Bank Trust Officers are located primarily in our Rockford office (8492 East State Street) but are happy to assist customers at all six Stillman Bank locations.

Keith Akre, CFA, CFP
Keith serves as Vice President & Trust Officer. He has more than 12 years of experience in Trust and Investment Management. He earned his Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance, and his Masters of Business Administration from Western Illinois University. He holds several professional certifications including Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and Certified Financial Planner (CFP®).
Akre is also very active in the community serving on several boards of non-profit, mission-driven organizations. Currently, he serves as the Treasurer of the Rockford Lutheran School Board, is a trustee for the Rockford University Board, and is a member of the governance board for the YMCA of Rock River Valley. He is also a member of the CFA Society of Chicago. He lives in Rockford with his wife and their three children.

Jeffrey Hartle
Jeff serves as Senior Vice President in our Rockford Office. He has over 30 years of experience in banking and financial services and currently specializes in commercial banking and wealth management. He is a graduate of Northern Illinois University and the Illinois Banker Association (IBA) Commercial Banking School.
A longtime resident of northern Illinois, Hartle has been involved with a variety of community organizations. He currently serves on the Boone County Community Foundation Board and is also a part of the finance committee for that group. He is a Board Member for the Belvidere Area Chamber of Commerce also sitting on the finance committee for that organization, and a 3rd Degree Mason serving Belvidere Masonic Lodge. He is also a Shriner serving Tebala Shriners Club of Rockford where he sits on the Finance Committee.

J. Joseph McCoy, JD
Joe serves as Trust Officer. Before joining Stillman Bank, McCoy was an attorney in Rockford for over 12 years specializing in trusts and estates. He was recognized as a “Leading Lawyer” in Illinois from 2015-2019. He earned his Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting from the University of Wisconsin – Madison and Law degree from the University of Miami.
McCoy currently serves as the Immediate Past President of the Rockford Symphony Orchestra Board. He lives in Rockford with his wife and their two children.

Jessica Schrader
Jessica serves as our Trust Operations Officer. She has 20 years of banking experience in managing various departments. Her experience includes 11 years serving in a Vice President role managing financial, administrative, and operational functions. She earned her Bachelor of Science-Business Management and minor in Economics from Illinois State University. She holds a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) and Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM-CP) Certification.
Schrader has lived in the Stateline community for over 25 years. She served as a Vice President and Secretary Board of Director for the Roscoe Chamber of Commerce and has been involved with the Chamber Ambassadors along with several other local community groups. She currently serves as a marketing and communications board member for the Rockford Area SHRM. Jessica enjoys spending time with her family and friends and looks forward to camping adventures.

Adam Talbert
Talbert has 15 years of experience in the financial services industry and specializes in wealth management and business retirement plans. His experience includes 8 years serving as Vice President of a local community bank and over 20 years of entrepreneurial experience. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from the University of Illinois Gies College of Business.
Adam is active and involved in the community, volunteering his time with the Greater Freeport Partnership, a local group focused on the development efforts of downtown Freeport. He also coaches youth baseball and football. He resides in Freeport with his wife and their three children.
