Stillman Bank Awards 2025 Jean Hausvick Memorial Scholarship to Hononegah Senior

Stillman Trust & Wealth Management is pleased to announce the winner of the Jean Hausvick Memorial Scholarship, a scholarship awarded to a local Hononegah High School senior who is interested in pursuing a career in finance. The 2025 recipient is Jacob Taets, who received a $500 scholarship.

Now in its 2nd year, the Jean Hausvick Memorial Scholarship was established to honor the life of Jean Hausvick, a 1967 graduate of Hononegah High School. She held the position of Retail Office Manager at Stillman Bank in Roscoe and had celebrated 50 years in banking before passing away unexpectedly on May 6, 2023. The scholarship, funded by Jean’s husband, Ken, and the employees of Stillman Bank, ensures Jean’s generous spirit will live on in the Roscoe/Rockton community for years to come.

Any high school senior at Hononegah High School who is interested in applying for the Jean Hausvick Scholarship is encouraged to inquire with the school’s guidance counselor. Application forms are available at the counseling office and must be submitted by the assigned deadline. A copy of the student’s high school transcript and proof of acceptance at an accredited college or university must be attached to the application.
