Purchase with a Purpose Check Presentations | Fall/Winter 2025

We recently ended our “Purchase with a Purpose” Debit Card Campaign in which a $1.00 donation was made to local charities with every Stillman Bank Debit Card transaction up to $6,000! We were excited to be able to present checks for $2,000 to 3 non-profit organizations throughout the Rock River Valley!

A Mothers Love

A Mothers Love, located in Machesney Park, is a nonprofit that offers free items to families in need through its donation shop. The organization provides a space where community members can both receive essentials and donate goods, fostering support and connection at no cost.

Lisa’s Little Rescue

Lisa’s Little Rescue is a licensed wildlife rescue that specializes in mammals and serves Winnebago, Ogle, and Boone counties. The organization is a founding member of both the Rockford Regional Wildlife Coalition and the Animal Rescue Expo. It receives no federal, state, or local funding; instead, supplies, food, and veterinary care are funded entirely through private donations and the rescue is run completely by volunteers.

Stillman Bank Retail Office Manager Kelly Carlos presents the $2,000 check to Lisa’s Little Rescue founder Lisa Beardsworth.

Youth Movement

Youth Movement, headquartered in Belvidere, invests in underserved youth and their parents/guardians by providing evidence-based opportunities and programs in leadership development, career exploration, and community service while promoting personal wellness.
