Sara Mitchell Appointed to Rochelle Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors

Congratulations to Sara Mitchell, Stillman Bank HR Generalist, on her appointment to the Rochelle Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors.

A lifelong resident of Rochelle, Sara is deeply committed to supporting and strengthening the community she calls home. A 2004 graduate of Rochelle Township High School, she earned her Associate of Applied Science degree from Kishwaukee College. She later completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Human Resources and Organizational Leadership from Rasmussen University.

With more than 16 years of experience in banking, Sara has held a variety of roles throughout her career, including Teller, Universal Banker, Commercial Loan Processor, Deposit Operations Specialist, and, most recently, Human Resources Generalist. Her professional experience, combined with her passion for community involvement, has made her a respected leader and advocate within the Rochelle area.

Sara has dedicated countless hours to volunteer service, participating in community shred days, career fairs, mock interviews for local students, Habitat for Humanity projects, road clean-up initiatives, holiday events, and numerous other community-focused activities. Before her appointment to the Chamber Board, she served as a member of the Rochelle Chamber Delegates, attending ribbon cuttings, participating in the Hub Professionals group, and volunteering at events such as the Kickin’ for a Cause Kickball Tournament, Lucky Hub Dash, and From the Heart Gala.
