Don Banks Joins Stillman Bank as Senior Vice President and Commercial Loan Officer

Stillman Bank is pleased to welcome Donald J. Banks as Senior Vice President and Commercial Loan Officer, according to Thomas R. Hughes, President & CEO. In his position, Don will primarily be involved with new business development and commercial lending. He will work from the Rockford office at 8492 East State Street.

With 36 years of banking experience, Don earned his bachelor’s degree in business management from Western Illinois University. He is also a graduate of the Graduate School of Banking Madison, the Community Bankers Association of Illinois Community Bankers School, and the American Bankers Association Commercial Lending School. Don also earned his Executive Leadership Certificate through the Wisconsin School of Business Center for Professional and Executive Development.

Don is very active in the community serving on several boards of local organizations. Currently, he serves as a board member for the Rockford Symphony Orchestra and the Community Building Complex of Boone County. He also sits on the Rockford Local Development Corporation (RLDC) and Flora Cemetery boards. Additionally, Don is the Flora Township clerk and a member of the IOU Club of Belvidere.
